CapRadio invited us onto Insight with Vicki Gonzalez to talk about how one small farm is making a big difference through fresh, pasture-raised eggs and our partnership with Alchemist CDC. This interview captures why local food matters, and how every dozen helps a neighbor.

About Us

Dwayne & Edison’s Eggery

Welcome to Dwayne & Edison’s Eggery, where the eggs are fresh, the chickens are spoiled, and the whole family is part of the flock.

What started with a couple of hens in the backyard has grown into a full-blown homestead project powered by love, learning, and a whole lot of coffee. Named after my two boys, Dwayne and Edison, this little farm is a hands-on adventure in raising animals, growing food, and teaching the next generation what it means to work hard, take care of something, and find joy in the everyday.

The boys help with it all, collecting eggs, feeding birds, building projects, and making sure no bug goes uneaten. Every task is a lesson, and every day is a chance to create something together.

Here’s what we’re all about:

🥚 Farm-Fresh EggsChicken and quail eggs delivered weekly or available at the market.  🔨 Handcrafted GoodsBirdhouses, bee hotels, egg holders, and more, made right here on the homestead.🐣 Incubation ServicesWe hatch small batches with care so you can start or expand your own flock.

Arden Certified Farmers Market – Saturdays 8AM-Noon- 2400 Butano dr, Sacramento (year round)

Meadowview  Certified Farmers Market – Sundays 9AM-1PM  3501 Meadowview Rd, Sacramento (May-Oct)

Florin Certified Farmers Market- Thursdays 8AM-Noon (year round)

Everything we sell supports the birds, the bees, and the boys. Every dollar goes back into feed, bedding, tools, and all the little things that keep a small farm running. More than that, it supports a lifestyle rooted in purpose, family, and a whole lot of chicken math. Because yes, chicken math is real. One or two hens turns into twenty before you know it, and somehow every one of them has a name.

When you support Dwayne & Edison’s Eggery, you’re not just buying eggs. You’re investing in a family, a small farm, and a dream built one coop and one carton at a time.

Thanks for being part of the journey. We’re so glad you’re here.
